Madrid, 1981. Bachelor of Arts in Law. She was granted a scholarship by the Antonio Gala Foundation for young creative writers during the 2005-2006 academic year and she resided in Córdoba during those years.
She has published the following poetry books: La torre de las tortugas (Antonio Carvajal Prize, Hyperion, 2006), Metales en la voz (Gran Hotel Canarias Prize, Vitruvius, 2006), Las versiones del tigre (Vitruvius, 2007) and De conjuros y ofrendas (Polibea, 2015). Her work has been included in El día que nevó sobre el naranjo anthology (Libros del Claustro Alto, Córdoba 2006) and En el viaje, aquellas cartas (Premios del tren, 2008).
She has received the fifteenth edition Luis Rosales Memorial Prize, First Prize at the fifth edition of the Café de Oriente “Gerardo Diego” international poetry contest, a prize at the young creative writers contest organised by the Madrid City Council (2007), First Prize at the Florencio Quintero contest and “The youngest voice 2011” Prize (Caja Madrid Social Foundation), among others. She has also been a finalist in the 61st, 64th and 65th Adonais Prize for Poetry and runner up in the 2008 Premios del Tren (RENFE).
She is in the process of publishing a new book of poems in collaboration with Amargord publishers. The book is titled La Columna Rota and the poems act as dialogue for paintings by the artist Frida Kahlo.
She currently lives in Madrid, where she practises law.
